A great artist once said
"EVERYTHING YOU CAN
IMAGINE IS REAL"

introduction

“For me, every painting I paint is completely different from one another. I like my paintings to be raw with imperfection in it. I see imperfection in a painting as a stroke of genius. I come up with very unusual ideas in my paintings with bizarre (eclectic) color combinations. From the start I have felt I rather make something which makes people think a million times, get different thoughts whenever they see the painting with multiple perspectives and opinions.

Art speaks where words are unable to explain. Art has come to me as a God’s gift. I have never learnt art anywhere, NEVER. I feel art cannot be learnt it has to come from inside and it should make you get going just like inspiration. When I paint I feel the interaction between me and the canvas. My communication with the canvas has made me grow as an artist.

Canvas, colours, brushes, knifes, painting tools - art is a way of communication for an artist. The smell of the paint gives me a kick of making a painting. It is like an addiction.”

For a reason as all of my paintings are made with a thought of something modern, something not visualized before, something which an artist has not done. When the word modern is uttered it only talks about technology or future development but never about art.

Of course we talk about contemporary art but I feel contemporary art is too limited. Contemporary is only for the current times. But modernistic art is timeless and evolving with original thought.

My paintings and vision offer a perspective of a modern era of the future. I have used different mediums on different bases like white canvas, black canvas, jute and linen with unusual combinations. One can compare art with science because without experimenting one won’t get the result.

The SHOWSTOPPER PAINTING is ‘REVERSE CANVAS’. Experimenting with a canvas is very good since it helps in adding objects to the canvas. I have used coffee for giving an effect on the ‘rear’ side of the canvas blending different tools in this painting.

I work in SILENCE, and I have an eye for detail, sensing the color palette and I live in my own world.

I am unperturbed with suggestions comments about my paintings from people around.

Once I finish my painting I am not attached to it. And I embark on the next with more excitement and fervour.
